A fire burns for twelve hours in front of ZOLLO. Around it, stories are shared — of other fires, past and present. Of the eternal fire of the Nomadic Garden Project in London, warming bankers and homeless people alike. Of clay-pot fires in Indonesian Ankringan tea carts. Of the flames kindled by striking piqueteras* in Buenos Aires.
These stories trace the power of fire to create a third space — a space of encounter, solidarity, and transformation, where histories, struggles, and imaginaries meet and mingle.
