M.I.A.U.
M.I.A.U. ist ein interdisziplinäres, sozial transformatives Projekt initiiert von Ada Kopaz und Kathrin Dröppelmann. Es versteht sich als eine künstlerisch/politische/ aktivistische Praxis. Im Sinne einer transformative documentary wird mit künstlerischen Mitteln (Video/Sound/Kunst/Performance) eine Polyphonie des Flusses Riachuelo in Buenos Aires gezeichnet. Im Fokus der Arbeit stehen solidarische Beziehungsweisen und neue/emanzipatorische Perspektivwechsel/Subjektivierungen.
Dafür untersucht M.I.A.U. wie Körper im öffentlichen Raum, in sozialen Netzwerken und auf der Bühne dargestellt werden. Indem M.I.A.U. den öffentlichen Raum zur Bühne macht, unterstreichen sie seine Relevanz als politischen Ort und legen eine Betonung auf die sich überschneidenden choreografischen Sprachen.

M.I.A.U. is an interdisciplinary, socially transformative project initiated by Ada Kopaz and Kathrin Dröppelmann. It sees itself as an artistic/political/activist practice. In the sense of a transformative documentary, a polyphony of the river Riachuelo in Buenos Aires is drawn using artistic means (video/sound/art/performance). The work focuses on solidary relationships and new/emancipatory changes of perspective/subjectivization.
To this end, M.I.A.U. examines how bodies are represented in public space, in social networks and on stage. By turning public space into a stage, M.I.A.U. emphasize its relevance as a political space and place an emphasis on the overlapping choreographic languages.
